MOBILE DOG PARK
A state-of-the-art mobile dog park designed to bring play and exercise to communities without dedicated dog parks.
The Problem: Many cities lack enough dog parks to meet community demand, limiting space for pets to play and socialize. A mobile dog park offers a cost-effective, flexible solution that brings this needed amenity directly to neighborhoods.

BRAINSTORMING
Exploring and brainstorming ideas to design a fair stand that brings a mobile dog park to life.

CONCEPT IDEATION
Exploring a variety of portable fair stand concepts through sketching.

FINAL CONCEPT ITERATION
Instructions for setting up at a local park, parking lot, or boardwalk.

PROTOTYPING AND USER TESTING
Throughout the prototyping phase:

-
Measuring proportions using people
-
Testing door mechanisms
-
Evaluating interior fixtures and features
-
Determining product placement
-
Assessing weight distribution placement
-
Analyzing floor spacing
-
Calculating area of coverage
-
Estimating capacity for how many people it can accommodate

CMF (COLOR, MATERIAL AND FINISH)
Emphasized the use of lightweight and cost-effective materials.

INTERACTIVE SCREEN
A new interactive experience for dog owners to register and access exclusive features, events, dog treats, and of course, beverages for their owners.

FINAL PRODUCT
The mobile dog park is easily towable and transportable to special events, providing a convenient and fun space for both dogs and their owners. It includes shaded areas with umbrellas, water bowls for the dogs, tasty biscuits, and complimentary coffee for everyone to enjoy.

Outcome
Impact:
Customers are excited to see a mobile dog park in their area, as it provides a much-needed space for their dogs to play and socialize. With no nearby dog parks available, this innovative solution allows pet owners to connect with their community while giving their dogs a safe and engaging environment.

Takeaways:

Creating a mobile dog park comes with unique challenges and valuable insights. One of the most important lessons is understanding the need for accessibility—many communities lack dedicated dog parks, making a mobile solution highly desirable. I also learned that safety and design are crucial; sturdy fencing, proper flooring, and shaded areas ensure a comfortable environment for both dogs and their owners.
